Shipping Policy

Orders are generally processed within two business days, Monday through Friday. Please check our homepage for any announcements of delayed processing times.

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout, based on the package dimensions, weight and destination.

International shipping is available to 241 countries. We probably ship to where you live, but if you are unsure, please contact us.

International Shipments: Additional duties, taxes, and/or carrier brokerage fees, etc. may be charged at the time of delivery.

All orders (domestic and international) are shipped using the service and carrier (USPS or UPS) you select at checkout.

Expedited shipping methods are available, but at this time we do not offer expedited processing. We strive to get your order in the mail as soon as possible to do our part in getting it to you quickly.

An estimated delivery time will be shown on the shipping screen. These are provided by the USPS or UPS, and the actual transit times are outside our control.

Lost Packages

Unfortunately accidents happen and from time to time USPS and UPS lose a package. All orders placed through Science Shepherd are insured, and we're happy to file a claim and reship your lost material. However, there is a strict twenty (20) calendar days (Domestic shipments) or 40 calendar days (International shipments) minimum waiting period from the time your original order ships to when we can begin an insurance claim. At that time, once you confirm that your package never arrived we will ship a replacement. We have had packages delayed several days and still show up.
