Additional Information
Science Shepherd Introductory Science is a complete homeschool science curriculum suitable for elementary school students in grades 1-5, or ages 6-11. Topics covered include creation, geology, biology, astronomy, oceanography, meteorology and more! The Video Course includes your choice of 15-month or lifetime access to daily 2-5 minute video lessons (including activities), which can be viewed on your own time schedule. The course is divided into 35 weeks, but can be easily adjusted to fit your school year. A DVD option is also available (yours to keep!).
In addition to the Introductory Science Video Course, students complete workbook assignments to reinforce concepts taught in each video lesson. Choose between a Level A or Level B Workbook to tailor the course to your student(s). The Level B Workbook contains all of the same material as Level A, plus additional content for older students. Because the Video Course is the same for each Workbook Level, students in either Level can watch the video lessons together. Level A is for approximately grades 1-3 or ages 6-9, and Level B is for approximately grades 3-5 or ages 8-11. However, these ages are flexible and only guidelines. Please choose the Level you feel is best for your individual student, considering his or her reading level and critical thinking. If you have multiple students and will need Level A and Level B material, simply purchase a Level B bundle and add additional Level A Workbooks and Answer Key as needed.
